Who is it for?:

If you are looking to get into teaching, or are currently working for an FE College, Independent Learning Provider or Local Authority, this is the course for you.

It's suitable for:

• Individuals not currently teaching or training.

• Individuals currently teaching and training, including those new to the profession.

• Individuals currently working as assessors who wish to achieve a qualification that provides an introduction to teaching.

Pre-requisites:

You would ideally have a subject in mind that you want to teach.

​

Course Content Includes:

​

​You will be taught about the role and responsibilities of being a teacher and you will be given the opportunity to practise skills in planning, delivering and evaluating training sessions.

​

Assessment will be via a practical micro-teach session and portfolio of evidence.

​

Qualification:

​

HABC Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF).
